frequently asked questions

here are answers to some common questions:

how does the 100 hours of use work?

  • membership includes 100 hours to use any vehicle in the fleet. you can use just the cars or just the boat, or anywhere in between, for up to 100 hours. hours are counted from the time you take possession of a vehicle, until the time you return the vehicle.

how do I reserve a vehicle?

  • we have a community slack channel, where you can post a reservation request so everyone is on the same page. reservations are first-come first-serve, and we haven’t had an issue with over-booking. sign up and use these vehicles!

how much can I expect to use the vehicles in the fleet?

  • currently, the vehicles are parked more often than not, we encourage our members to get out and make the most of their membership. you’ll likely have the ability to use the vehicles multiple times a week.

are there any additional fees, other than the $600 per month membership?

  • fuel is not included. members are asked to return the cars full of premium fuel (92 octane or higher) from Shell, 76 or Chevron after each use.

  • we will record the fuel level in the recreational vehicles, and add the total of what you use to your subsequent subscription payment.

  • members must hold a personal automobile insurance policy. contact us if you don’t have a car, we may be a able to help you find a policy.

  • road tolls will be added to your subsequent subscription payment.

can I add an additional driver?

  • yes, as long as you add the driver to your rental contract. any driver not listed on the rental contract will not have insurance coverage.

how are the vehicles cleaned?

  • the vehicles should be immaculate every time you use them. members are asked to leave the vehicle in the same condition they receive it in. any issues are addressed in the community slack channel.

  • we clean the cars at least every week, and the recreational vehicles after each use. that being said, members must take care to sanitize the vehicles before and after their use for their own safety and peace of mind.

how many unlo members are there?

  • we are a small startup and we launched in July of this year! we currently have 4 members, so if you’re worried about not getting to use the vehicles, don’t be. our #1 goal is to keep the community happy. the more members, the more toys we’ll add. sign up, bring your friends, and live every day to the fullest!
